A walking kit, a professional vehicle kit and an operational field kit solve different problems. Start with location, travel time, the dogs involved and the responder’s training.
Make contents visible
A contents list, expiry check and simple replenishment record are more valuable than items hidden beneath marketing language. Used or compromised supplies should be replaced promptly.
Separate specialist equipment
Major-bleed equipment should be selected with suitable training, instructions and governance. It should not be presented as an everyday extra that anybody can use without preparation.
